There are a lot of seniors here at Richland Place who know basics, but need a little encouragement to branch out. Since they did not have computers DVDs or DVRs until recently, most do not have a clue that you can do lots of things with them. They can write and receive email, go to one or two pages they like to view but that is all they can think of to do. Little by little I am helping them expand their horizon. Last week I helped someone set their new printer up. They had done everything correctly, except push the new cartridges down hard enough until they 'snap' in. I was very impressed that they attempted to install the new printer on their own! Etoile Christie was born in Paris, France. He got his name because the pet store where he was purchased was on the Place de l'Etoile (aka Place Charles de Gaulle) which is a large road junction, the meeting point of twelve straight avenues (hence it's historic name which translates as "Square of the Star) including the Champs-Elysees which continues to the east. Etoile means star in French.
