I am fortunate to live on the beautiful central coast of California in a small town named Morro Bay. This is a view from the deck off our living room. It's named after Morro Rock, a huge rock of volcanic origin that sits just offshore. Morro Rock is one of nine volcanic peaks that form a line from the Pacific Ocean inland to San Luis Obispo.

My husband Dave and I together have four children. They range in age from 42 to 36 and live in GA, IN, VA and TN. The IN part of our blended family has three of our six grandchildren; Jared (1994), Jayson (2004) and Justin (2007). The TN part of our blended family has Noah (2007) and Simon (2010). The VA part has Alex (2009). In addition, we have two "acquired" grandchildren here in CA, Tyler (1995) and Cameron (1998).

Dave was Director of Learning Resources at Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo, CA. I had a home based business doing 'virtual business management' and computer consulting. We both retired at the end of 2007.
