I am fortunate to live on the beautiful central coast of California in a small town named Morro Bay. This is a view from the deck off our living room. It's named after Morro Rock, a huge rock of volcanic origin that sits just offshore. Morro Rock is one of nine volcanic peaks that form a line from the Pacific Ocean inland to San Luis Obispo.

My husband, Dave, and I together have four children. They range in age from 39 to 34 and live in NY, IN, MI and TN. The IN part of our blended family has three of our four grandchildren; Jared, born in 1994; Jayson, born in 2004 and Justin born in 2007. The TN part of our blended family has our most recent grandchild, Noah, born in 2007. In addition, we have two other grandchildren here in CA, Tyler, born in 1995 and Cameron, born in 1998.

Dave was Director of Learning Resources at Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo, CA. I had a home based business doing 'virtual business management' and computer consulting. We both retired at the end of 2007.
